Johnnie Grima, originally from Australia, developed a passion for cricket and music at a young age. After moving to Malta, he became a professional musician and entertainer while also establishing himself as an international cricketer. For the past four decades, he has represented Marsa CC and Malta, playing over 1250 games. Known for his sharp skills behind the stumps, his enthusiasm for cricket remains as strong as ever. Recently, Grima represented the Rest of the World XI in the Over 60s World Cup, where he was awarded Best Fielder for his remarkable wicket-keeping. In addition to his sports career, Grima has been recognised for his contributions to tourism, winning the prestigious Star Award for Malta.
