Sussex Seniors claimed victory in a thrilling finale, with Alan Wyatt (Sussex) awarded the Ivan Minter Memorial Player of the Final.
The Presentation Ceremony, hosted with charm and energy by our Malta Cricket Legend Frankie Spiteri, was a perfect close to an incredible tournament.
At the ceremony, Spiteri warmly thanked the organising committee, crew, and all the participants of the festival, with special appreciation to the Malta Tourism Authority, BeActive – SportMalta, Marsa Sports Club, Malta Cricket Association and FGS (https://fgs.co.uk), the event’s major sponsors, for their unwavering support in making it all possible.
With more than 200 players, officials, and supporters flying in from the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, this year’s event was officially the largest Over 60s cricket festival ever held in Malta and Europe!
